LGMG and Huawei signed a strategic cooperation agreement!

Lingong Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd （hereinafter referred to as "LGMG"） and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd （hereinafter referred to as "Huawei”） signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement On January 18, 2025, the strategic cooperation signing ceremony between LGMG and Huawei was held at Huawei's Shenzhen Bantian Base.

LGMG Chairman Yu Mengsheng, General Manager Zhi Kaiyin, Huawei Vice President and CEO of Huawei Oil and Gas Mining Corps Han Shuo, and Huawei Cloud aPaaS Service Product Department Director Hu Jianjun attended the signing ceremony, and representatives of both parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

On the day of the signing, the two sides held a discussion. Han Shuo warmly welcomed the visit of the LGMG team, introduced Huawei's practical experience in digital transformation, and the establishment of the Oil and Gas Mining Corps to find technology for the industry, solve industry problems, accelerate industry intelligence, and realize the vision of "few people, no people, safe and efficient". At present, the business scope of the Oil and Gas Mining Corps mainly includes mining, smelting, oil and gas, chemicals, building materials, and other business areas.

LGMG Chairman Yu Mengsheng introduced that LGMG is currently the industry's leading manufacturer of mining machinery and aerial work machinery, focusing on mining equipment, aerial work machinery, and other businesses, with sales covering more than 100 countries and regions including China, Europe, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Africa, etc., with strong equipment research and development, manufacturing, sales and operation capabilities, and hopes to work hand in hand with Huawei to use 5G, artificial intelligence and other technologies to drive the development of intelligent mining.

According to the strategic cooperation agreement, the two parties will use Huawei's technology and rich experience in the field of unmanned driving, including vehicle-side perception, intelligent scheduling, 5G network, etc., combined with LGMG's R&D and manufacturing capabilities in mining vehicles and other equipment, to jointly create mature and stable unmanned mining vehicles. In addition, with the strength of LGMG in vehicle operation and maintenance and engineering operations, after the large-scale application of unmanned mining vehicles, the production safety and efficiency of mines can be guaranteed. This is a strong combination and complementary cooperation. In the future, the two parties will face the world and jointly build a "lighthouse project" in unmanned driving.
